Nate is prompt, courteous and professional. That is the only way to describe the experience that I had with Dryer Vent Cleaning by Nate Greenberg. When it was apparent that we had a structural issue with our rigid dryer vent in our condominium I began a search for someone who might diagnose and remedy the problem without having to remove thirty feet of ceiling in our dining room and living room. Nate Greenberg had the appropriate equipment and skills to pinpoint and perform the work with essentially no disruption to our home and the need for very minimal sheet-rock repair.

I had a continuous problem with bird nests in my dryer vent. No matter what bird guard was placed over the vent we continued to have problems, because the lint would clog in the bird guard and in the vent due to the bird guard. Since Nate placed his Better Bird Guard on my vent I have never had a problem with lint backing up in my vent and no more nests. I am very grateful for this product.

Over the past few years, Nate Greenberg of Dryer Vent Cleaning by Nate Greenberg, has performed dryer vent cleaning for many of the residents in our condominium complex. I have found Nate to be well organized, thorough and professional in his work.

One of the major advantages – Nate is able to perform his dryer vent cleaning service from outside the house. This is particularly useful in arranging for significant numbers of homeowners in a condominium complex to have their dryer vents cleaned. All that is necessary for the work to be done is to arrange a date and give Nate a list of the units whose dryer vents need to be cleaned. The owner of the condominium need not be present for the work to be done.

At the end of the day, Nate provides a receipt and Certificate of Compliance to all of the unit owners certifying that the work has been done. I have no reservations in recommending Nate for dryer vent cleaning.

    From start to finish I appreciated Nates great attitude. In making the appointment he called me back in the same day that I had left him a message. When Nate thought he would be a few minutes late for our appointment, he was courteous and called me. I greatly appreciated that he respected my time. Once here, though Nate was thrown a curve ball, as the dryer vent had been brick faced over years ago by the builder. Nate took carefull measurements to find where the vent should be and personally went over to the condo manager before he started work. Nate knows the ropes for condos….so if you are living in a condo, definitely call him! Nate was concise in his measurments, removed the proper brick and exposed my dryer vent. Nate was thorough and made certain the vent was clean, I had the proper paper work and that everything was working properly before he left. I appreciated that Nate and his co-worker were respectful of me and my property from start to finish, not to mention that Nate knew what he was doing! I appreciated him going out of his way to rectify the problem and I felt like he was in my corner and working to help me. He could have seen the brick and told me to call a mason, but he didn’t!     I would highly recommend Nate Greenberg of Dryer Vent Cleaning in Suffern.
    I live in Mahwah, in Ridge Gardens on the second floor. Nate got up
    on a ladder and determined which outside vent was mine. He cleaned the vent
    from both the inside and the outside. I have had the dryer vent cleaned every
    12 – 14 months by other companies but it was primarily done from the inside
    (once from the outside but I now realize that they cleaned the wrong vent
    because they didn’t determine which one was mine as this company did). Nate
    used a 35 foot hose from the outside and the amount of “lint” that was blown
    out was astounding. My vent had very little air flow and was very clogged. He
    also replaced the bird guard which contributed to the clogged vent (he has a
    patented bird guard which allows the lint to go out but not the birds to go
    in). He cleaned from inside the dryer also, shortened the hose (because there
    was too much) and put on a new stainless steel clamp. His team also vacuumed up
    the outside area where the lint had come out so there was no evidence of the
    lint. The cost was very reasonable, he arrived at the scheduled time and did a
    great job.

    I am so glad that my washing machine broke because I was then told about Nate Greenberg’s Dryer Vent Company. Having burned out 3 dryers due to inadequate pipe venting, (which I had paid a hefty price to have fixed to no avail), I was living with venting the dryer into a stocking with no ventilation in the room and wet walls. Nate promptly came to my home, diagnosed the problem and we arranged a time for him to come over and finally have it ” fixed right”. When he took out the old pipes which were filled with lint, I knew how lucky we were that we did not have a dryer fire.     HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Nate’s company was referred to me by my neighbor. I contacted him to clean out my dryer vent. He made an appointment, giving me a window of time in which he would arrive, and he was prompt and courteous.     I dried a rug and it shed all over the dryer. I got out of the dryer vent what I could, but I could only imagine what was in the hose ducting to the outside.     We were updating our family room and hallway to our bedroom by changing the flooring. In our hallway, we have our washer and dryer. We brought in our plumber to disconnect the water and gas lines and our plumber mentioned he thought there was a problem with our venting from our dryer. We called in Nate to look at it. He said that there was a major issue and was really surprised and that we were very fortunate that we did not suffer a fire.     We moved into our home about a year ago and we were unsure of the condition of our dryer vent. When our vent signal light on our dryer turned on, we contacted Nate to come service our home. Nate immediately set up a time for the following week, given we live in Peekskill and provided a reasonable window of time for us to expect him. Once he arrived, he discovered we had a giant bird’s nest in our dryer vent and he cleaned it out thoroughly, all from the outside of our home. Nate suggested adding his patented covers (which keep the birds out) and he posted a reminder sticker in our laundry room to ensure we remember to service our dryer vent on time.     My husband and I did not realize that we needed to have our dryer vent cleaned annually. We got Nate’s name from someone we trusted and Nate more than lived up to the recommendation. Our dryer is on the second floor with a vent that is very long with many twists and turns. Nate came to our home and thoroughly cleaned the vent. He also replaced the outside vent with a vent that easily keeps the birds out while allowing the lint to easily flow through. His prices are very reasonable. We will be calling Nate annually for our dryer vent cleaning. Having Nate to our home, with his associate Wiley, was a very pleasant experience.

    We had problems of overheating with a 2 year old GE electric dryer located in a laundry area on the second floor and vented through the attic roof. An appliance repair service replaced various sensors and heating element–problem continued. We called another vent cleaning service. Problem seemed solved. Overheating started again after 3 weeks. We then called in a contractor to check dryer exhaust line. No blockage found. We then called Nate who came and solved the problem immediately–improper screen on roof vent. Problem solved.
    We will be using Nate for all dryer related service.

    I consider myself lucky to have found this dryer vent cleaning company, after being charged with finding someone to clean our daughters dryer vent….(the repairman had said she shouldn’t use it until the vent was cleaned…as the same problem might appear). She had had them cleaned in the past, but said she always felt like ti was not a good job. So knowing little about finding someone on the internet, as i said, I consider myself fortunate when I contacted Nate of the dryer vent cleaning company. As after he cleaned the vent he still wasn’t satisfied with the venting, and worked further inside to remediate the entire problem…which had probably gone on for awhile….so again…thanks to my good luck in finding Nate. Our daughter is very happy about this and put Nate’s name on her list of people to call when needed for her home.

    I had multiple dryer vent cleaners come to my home to identify and resolve the problem with my dryer. They offered cheap prices; however, the issue continued. I called Nate’s service and his son Evan showed up. He managed to find the problem immediately. There was a clogged vent on my roof. None of the other companies even went on the roof to check for problems. Evan was very skilled and efficient. He was in and out and the service was reasonably priced. I have not had a problem with my dryer since. Do not waste your time calling other companies. I would definitely recommend Nate’s service to anyone!

    Nate is absolutely amazing. Came to our house on a Friday night to diagnose a problem that our home appliance insurance company was hassling us about. provided the proof we need to get it fixed under warranty and he didn’t even charge us. Very rare to find this type of quality service these days. If you need the services he provides, you couldn’t make a better choice. He is truly the best!!!
